The LYTE CREW Program is a hands-on theatre production program designed for high school students who are interested in exploring the technical and creative side of live theatre. Whether you’re curious about backstage careers, enjoy building and creating, or simply want to be involved in theatre in a different way, this program offers a unique opportunity to learn industry skills while contributing directly to LYTE productions.

Over 16 weeks, participants will take part in engaging workshops focused on:

  • Set Design & Construction
  • Costume Design & Creation
  • Props Design & Fabrication

Throughout the program, participants will work on real projects that will be used in LYTE’s Main Stage Musical productions, giving them practical experience and the opportunity to see their work come to life on stage.

The LYTE CREW Program is perfect for students who:

  • Love theatre but prefer being behind the scenes
  • Enjoy art, design, building, crafting, or problem-solving
  • Are interested in technical theatre and production careers
  • Want to gain valuable teamwork and leadership skills

Program Highlights

  • 16 weeks of hands-on training and workshops
  • Learn from experienced theatre professionals
  • Create real sets, costumes, and props for LYTE productions
  • Gain practical backstage and production experience
