Aiden Thomas
Office Manager
Since 2009, Aiden continues to be a vital part of the Palace Theatre. She joined us as a dedicated volunteer in the box office and in costume design and later transitioned into an administrative role in 2018. Known for her adaptability and “Girl Friday” attitude, Aiden is always ready to assist wherever needed.
Aiden was honoured with a 2018 Wally Duffield Award from the PTAC Life Members. With a positive and professional approach, Aiden strives to ensure everyone feels valued, heard and supported. Aiden also holds certification in the OCASI Positive Space Initiative, showcasing her commitment to inclusivity and supporting diverse communities.
Ruth Noonan
LYTE Program Director
Ruth has been teaching and directing young actors for the past 20 years. Born to an artistic family, Ruth was involved in theatre from the age of 4. In her teens, Ruth got a job working at a theatre camp where she was tasked with directing shows for young actors. It was there that she caught the “directing bug”. Ruth has taught acting and directed youth theatre in Newmarket, Brampton, Mississauga, and London. In 2012, Ruth began directing for the LYTE Program and became Program Coordinator in 2015 while continuing to direct, choreograph, and teach workshops. Ruth’s passion is training and mentoring young actors by creating a safe, welcoming and compassionate space where they feel supported.
