ODESA COMPANY TO BECOME A RESIDENT OF THE PALACE THEATRE

The Palace Theatre Arts Commons (PTAC) has brought Odesa Company under its umbrella after the two groups signed a 3-year residency agreement for Odesa Company to produce it’s London, Ontario based productions at the Palace Theatre.
Odesa Company joins Banished by the King Productions as the second of two resident theatre companies, and is expected to produce its residency shows on the David Long Stage. “This is an incredible opportunity for everyone involved,” says Scott Smalley, Executive Director of Odesa Company and member of the PTAC Board of Directors. “It’s been exciting to witness the resurgence of the Palace Theatre as we emerge from COVID, and after the success of Odesa and LCP’s co-production of ‘Dracula’ last October, we have a chance to continue our pursuit of staging immersive and engaging theatre. We’re looking forward to entertaining audiences and supporting the growth of both Odesa Company and PTAC.”
The residency begins on January 1, 2025.
Odesa Company and Banished by the King Productions join the founding group, The London Community Players, the youth theatre education group LYTE and London Fringe at The Palace Theatre.
