LYTE’s Senior Spring Play 2025 Presents:
SHE KILLS MONSTERS

LYTE is looking for 10 actors between the ages of 13-18. Auditions are open to anyone in this age range, you do not have to be a current participant to audition. There is no cost associated with this program as it is audition-based.
About the Show
She Kills Monsters tells the story of Agnes Evans as she leaves her childhood home in Ohio following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, however, she finds herself catapulted into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was her sister’s refuge. In this high-octane dramatic comedy laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres, and 90s pop culture, acclaimed playwright Qui Nguyen offers a heart-pounding homage to the geek and warrior within us all.

(Actors will be scheduled in 10-minute time slots)
Audition Requirements:
Please prepare a 2–3-minute comedic monologue showcasing your ability as a performer.
Callbacks (if required): Sunday, March 2nd, 6 pm – 8 pm
Rehearsals:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Saturdays 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, March 18, 2025
Show Week Rehearsals: Sunday May 19 – Thursday May 22 (Times TBD)
Performances: SHE KILLS MONSTERS will be performed in Procunier Hall at The Palace Theatre
